The Macon County Community Advisory Board is selling chances to win a brand new Tao Motor Boulder B1 ATV. It will be given away at Christmas on the Square on December 11th. Chances are $20 each or 6 for $100 and can be purchased at Whittemore’s Bookkeeping, Wolf Hill Tire, Macon Power Sports, Shrum’s Feed Mill and from Joe Barber at Ben Bray Real Estate.

The 17th Annual Coat and Toy Drive for the Children, sponsored by Cash Express is underway and going through December 10th. They are accepting toys, coats, shoes, clothing and non perishable food items. For more information call 615-691-6861.

The Buildings and Facilities Committee will meet Monday at 5:30pm at the Courthouse.

The Red Boiling Springs Christmas Parade “A Story time Christmas” will be Saturday night at 6pm.

The Macon Meat Smokers, Fish Fry & BBQ will be Saturday at 5pm at Memaw’s Grocery. It’s $10 a plate for fried fish or shredded BBQ, hushpuppies, choice of two sides and drink. Call ahead and order your plate at 615-670-1124.

The Well will be delivering free homemade meals between 11 and 1pm, Saturday. This is open to Macon County residents only. Call or text 615-561-9677 or 615-388-0085 to reserve a meal, in order to ensure a meal delivery call no later than Thursday. Meals will be delivered as supplies last.

The 2021 Macon County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade “A Storybook Christmas” will be Saturday at 1pm. If you can’t make it out to the parade, tune in right here to Country 102.1FM.

The Macon County Joint Economic & Community Development/Industrial Board will meet Wednesday at 10:30am at the Courthouse.
