L.B.J. & C. Head Start is currently accepting applications to provide free comprehensive child development services to children 3-5 years of age from low- income families in a full day program. Lafayette Lions Club 16th Annual Mud Race Saturday night on the Macon County Fairgrounds. ATV registration at 5pm races at 6pm Mud race registration at 5pm race at 7pm. Gate admission $5.00 per person.

 

Gospel meeting at Leonard Church of Christ will begin Sunday with speaker Chris Reecer- Sunday school at 9am, worship at 10, annual homecoming dinner on the grounds at noon, Clay County singing at 2pm evening services at 7pm thru Wednesday night.

 

Calvary Baptist Church will host Squire Parsons Sunday night at 6pm.

 

Motorcycle Cannonball Run 2014 will be at Cyclemo’s Motorcycle Museum Monday. Come on out to see these pre-1936 motorcycles on their cross country ride.

 

The Macon County Committee of a Whole will meet Monday night at 7pm in the courthouse.

 

Hunter’s Education class will be held at the Macon County Junior High School Auditorium Sept 8th , 9th, 11th, and 12th 6pm until 9pm each night. Register for the class by going to www.tn.wildlife.org.
