During the month of May, Macon Community Hospital is offering Free Vitamin D Screenings. No appointment required, just drop by Monday thru Friday between 7-5pm. Call 615-666-2147 for more information.

The Mt. Hermon Community Center will have a dance Saturday night featuring Moonlight Knights. Doors open at 6pm and the dance starts at 7pm.

Macon Community Hospital will have a Parkinson Support Group Meeting, Wednesday at 3pm.

City Hall will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day. Monday’s garbage will be picked up Tuesday.

The American Legion will have a Memorial Day Service, Monday at 11am at the Courthouse on Lafayette Public Square.

The Budget Committee Meeting that was scheduled for Tuesday has been cancelled.

Haysville Cemetery Decoration is today. Donations are appreciated and needed for upkeep. They may be made at the cemetery or mailed to Patricia Hargis, 1404 Flippin Drive in Lafayette.

Enon Cemetery Decoration is today.

Liberty Cemetery is in need of donations for upkeep and may be mailed to Terry Tucker, 175 Austin Road in Lafayette or to Liberty Cemetery Fund at Wellworth Bank.

Friendship Missionary Baptist Church will have a Benefit Gospel Singing for Sister Jana Austin, Friday night at 7pm.
