Lafayette Lions and Lioness Lions Club’s 28th Annual Radio Auction will be October 14th thru the 17th from 5:30pm – 10pm each night right here on Country 102.1FM. During the auction call 615-666-2195 to place your bid.

The 37150 Painted Rock Art Show will be held at Citizens Bank at 32 Carthage Road in Red Boiling Springs today thru Friday.

18 Wheels Apex Riders has organized a Coat Drive to help local children and families. Donations of hats, scarves, mittens, coats, boots and shoes can be dropped off now through October 4th at Mikes Foodvalue in Red Boiling, Westmoreland Trinity Church and Hartsville Piggly Wiggly.

Entry forms are now being accepted for the 16th Annual Art in Real Life Photo Contest. The contest is open to nonprofessional/amateur photographers age 18 and over. For more information and to receive and entry form call Pat at 615-388-2561 and leave a message.

The City of Lafayette is collecting donations for the families in East Tennessee affected by Helene. Donations of non perishable food items, water, toiletries and clothes are being accepted thru October 11th, just bring those items to the lobby of Lafayette City Hall, Monday thru Friday from 7:30am – 4pm.

The Committee of the Whole of the County Commission of Macon County will meet, Monday night at 6:30pm in the City of Lafayette Meeting Room.

The Mt. Hermon Community Center will have a Family Friendly dance, Saturday featuring Whiskey River. Doors open at 6pm and the dance starts at 7pm.

Lafayette Masonic Lodge #543 will have their regular business meeting, Thursday night at 7pm.

Lafayette Lions Club will have a Steak Sandwich Sale Friday from 10-2pm at Wal-Mart. The meal will be $12.

The 37150 invites you to a Super Smash Bros Tournament, Saturday at the Step Back in Time Shop at 252 Main Street in Red Boiling. The entry fee is $7, registration begins at 3pm and the tournament starts at 4pm.

Lafayette United Methodist Church will hold a special “Blessing of the Animals” service near the Prayer Garden at 506 Bratton Ave. Saturday at 2pm. Bring your lawn chair and leashed, bridled and caged pets. Water and treats provided.

An Effort Meeting will begin at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church Sunday night. Services will be nightly at 7pm with day services Saturday and Sunday at 11am. Pastor Elder Daniel Tinsley and Helper Elder Jacob Sullivan.

Meadorville Missionary Baptist Church will have a prayer meeting Wednesday night at 7pm.

Bro Johnie Holland will preach at Days Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday night at 6pm.

Bro Mike Cowan will preach at Maple Grove #2 Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday night at 6pm.

Bro Rickey Brooks will preach at Russell Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday at 11am.
