Macon Community Hospital is offering discounted Vascular Screenings during June. The Carotid Artery Ultrasound, AAA Ultrasound and ABI Peripheral Arterial Disease Screening are $40 each or $110 for all 3 during June. Call 615-666-2147 for more information.

American Legion Post 117 will meet Tuesday evening at 5pm at the VFW Hall.

The 50th Annual Macon County Hillbilly Days will be Thursday, Friday & Saturday in Key Park.

Art in Key Park will be every Tuesday in June from 4-6pm. All ages are welcome to this free community event.

The Food Pantry at Lafayette Methodist Church located at 506 Bratton Ave will be open Thursday from noon until 2pm.

The Macon County Planning Commission will meet tonight at 6pm at the Welcome Center.

Summer Harvest a USDA Program will be handing out 7 shelf stable breakfasts & lunches each Tuesday through July 28th at First Baptist Church in Lafayette from 2-4:30pm. This is for ages 18 and under, name and date of birth is all that will be needed.

Oakdale General Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School Saturday from 9-2pm.

Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church will have Father’s Day Brunch Sunday at 9:30am.

An Effort Meeting is in progress at Friendship Missionary Church with nightly services at 7pm. Pastor Elder Kevin Harrison will be assisted by Elder Phillip Brawner.

Revival is in progress at Underwood Missionary Baptist Church Sunday with nightly services at 7pm.

Bro Jason Reeves will preach at Meadorville Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday at 11am.

Bro James Harrison will preach at Spring Creek Missionary Baptist Church Sunday at 11am.
