Macon Community Hospital is offering discounted Vascular Screenings during July. The Carotid Artery Ultrasound, AAA Ultrasound and ABI Peripheral Arterial Disease Screening are $40 each or $110 for all 3 during June. Call 615-666-2147 for more information.

The Committee of the Whole of the County Commission of Macon County will meet, this evening at 6:30pm in the Legislative Meeting Room at the Administration Building.

Summer Harvest a USDA Program will be handing out 7 shelf stable breakfasts & lunches each Tuesday through July 28th at First Baptist Church in Lafayette from 2-4:30pm. This is for ages 18 and under, name and date of birth is all that will be needed.

The Mt. Hermon Community Center will have a Family Friendly Dance, Saturday night featuring No Deposit. Doors open at 6pm and the dance starts at 7pm.

An Effort Meeting is in progress at Russell Hill Missionary Baptist Church, with nightly services at 7pm, Saturday and Sunday services at 11am, Elder Stone Morris Pastor and Bro Greg West Helper.

Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church will have vacation bible school today thru Friday from 8-11:30am each day.
