The 50th Annual Macon County Hillbilly Days will be June 18th, 19th and 20th in Key Park.

Art in Key Park will be every Tuesday in June from 4-6pm. All ages are welcome to this free community event.

The Budget Committee will meet Monday evening at 5pm in the Administration Building meeting room.

Macon County Sports Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony will be Saturday evening at 6pm at the high school. Tickets are $20 per person and available at the door. If you can’t make it to the Ceremony, tune into 102.1FM for Live Coverage with Jeremy Wilson.

Summer Harvest a USDA Program will be handing out 7 shelf stable breakfasts & luches each Tuesday through July 28th at First Baptist Church in Lafayette from 2-4:30pm. This is for ages 18 and under, name and date of birth is all that will be needed.

You’re invited to a Benefit Fish Fry for Leslie Simmons, Friday at 5pm at Memaw’s Grocery. It’s $12 for fish or pulled pork plates.

The Macon Country Senior Center is having Big Yard Sale through Friday from 8-4pm each day.

Decoration at Scott Cemetery will be Sunday. Donations may be made at the cemetery or at Wellworth Bank and are greatly appreciated.

Decoration at Maple Grove Cemetery will be Saturday and Sunday. Donations are needed for upkeep, to donate contact W.C. Smith or Charlie Patterson.

Anyone interested in the upkeep of Pirtle Cemetery please send donations to Pirtle Cemetery Fund c/o Clara Cherry Willis, 1486 Williams Road in Lafayette.

First Baptist Church invites you to Vacation Bible School, June 9th thru the 11th from 9am –Noon for ages 4-12 years.

Bro Brian Flynn will preach at Days Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday night at 6pm.

Bro Austin Smith will preach at Meadorville Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday at 11am.

The Happy Hearts will sing at Eulia (U Lah) General Baptist Church, Sunday night at 6pm.

Bro Phil Mayle will preach at Maple Grove #2 Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday night at 6pm.

Bro Britt Little will preach at Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday at 11am.

Walton Chapel Church of Christ will have a Gospel Meeting beginning Sunday and going thru Friday night with Speaker Jarrod Jacobs.

Elder Mark Meador will preach at Old Beech Bottom Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday at 11am.
