American Legion Post 117 will meet Tuesday evening at 5pm at the VFW Hall.

Cason’s Cause will have a Fall Tricks and Treats Vendor Market, Saturday from 10-7pm at the Fairgrounds.

Bethel Family Worship located at 101 Church Street in Lafayette is asking for donations of gently used toys to be donated to children during the Christmas season.

The 29th Annual Lafayette Lions and Lioness Lions Club Radio Auction will be October 27th, 28th and 29th from 5pm until 10:15pm each night right here on 102.1FM.

Holy Family Catholic Church at 431 Old Hwy 52 invites you to a Chili Cookoff, Saturday from 4-7pm.

Westside Elementary’s Fall Festival will be Saturday from 4-8:30pm. Come out and enjoy bouncy houses, cake walk and more.

City Clean Up Week will is this week for Lafayette City residents. The city will come by on your garbage pick up day. Please do not put items next to your garbage can, a separate truck will come to get items. Items not accepted are: building materials, wire, tires, mattresses and no items containing Freon or gases & no extra large loads will be picked up.

The Macon County Legislative Body will meet in regular session, tonight at 6:30am.

The Macon County Legislative Body and Macon County School Board will meet together in a special called session this evening at 5pm in the Legislative Meeting room in the Administration Building. This meeting is to discuss and/or take action on the Macon County Vocational School addition.

A Gospel Meeting is in progress at Walton Chapel Church of Christ and will go through Friday with speaker Bob McPherson. Services nightly at 7pm.

Brattontown Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate their 100th Anniversary, Saturday at 11am with dinner on the grounds to follow.

Austin Smith will preach at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday night at 6pm.
