MMacon Community Hospital is offering discounted Vascular Screenings during July. The Carotid Artery Ultrasound, AAA Ultrasound and ABI Peripheral Arterial Disease Screening are $40 each or $110 for all 3 during July. Call 615-666-2147 for more information.

Lafayette Playhouse and Event Center will host a Community Hero’s Day, Saturday from noon until 2pm. This is a free event for the community to come out and meet your local 911 Hero’s.

The Food Pantry at Lafayette Methodist Church will be open Thursday from noon until 2pm.

Summer Harvest a USDA Program will be handing out 7 shelf stable breakfasts & lunches each Tuesday through July 28th at First Baptist Church in Lafayette from 2-4:30pm. This is for ages 18 and under, name and date of birth is all that will be needed.

The Macon County 911 Board Meeting will be Tuesday at 1:30pm at the 911 Building located at 898 Highway 52 Bypass East.

Revival services begin today at Maple Grove #2 Missionary Baptist Church with nightly services at 7:30pm and day services at 1:30pm. Helpers Elder Casey Cole and Bro Brad Whittemore will assist Pastor Elder Dean Dyer.

Bro Michael Swindle will preach at Days Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church tonight at 6pm.

An Effort Meeting begins at Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church, tonight at 7pm. Elders Jason Goad and Tucker Smith will be preaching.

Revival begins at Eulia (U-Lah) General Baptist Church, tonight with nightly services at 7pm with Evangelist Bro Chuck Caldwell and Pastor Bro Chance Hall.
