Sozo Ministries 3rd Annual Toy Drive is underway and going through Dec. 15th. Toys can be dropped off at Soul Fire Ministries at 116 Main Street and check out their Facebook page to see what local restaurants are giving specials for donating toys.

Red Boiling Springs Elementary School’s Fall Festival will be Saturday evening from 5-9pm. Come out and enjoy food, cake walk, silent and live auction, bingo and much more.

Lafayette City Hall will be closed Tuesday in observance of Veteran’s Day. Tuesday’s garbage will be picked up Wednesday.

The Veterans Day Parade and Celebration will be Tuesday at 11am starting with a ceremony at the courthouse. The parade will follow the ceremony and end in Key Park with a meal and guest speaker. If you can’t make it to the ceremony, tune in here to Country 102.1FM for Live coverage.

The Red Boiling Springs Church of Christ will have a soup, chili and sandwich supper, Sunday evening at 5pm in the fellowship hall. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Wellworth Bank will have a Veteran’s Breakfast Saturday morning at the Sally Wells Building. Breakfast will be served at 7am and the program begins at 8am. If you can’t make it to the breakfast, tune in here to Country 102.1FM for Live coverage with Jeremy Wilson.

Romans 8:28 Ministry invites you to an All You Can Eat Chili & Soup Dinner at 2861 Hwy 52 East, Saturday evening at 5pm to be followed by an auction at 6pm. The cost is $10 per adult and $5 per child.

Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church will have Youth Day Sunday. Sunday school begins at 10am and church begins at 11am.

Bro Troy Swindle will preach at Union Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday at 11am.
