Macon Community Hospital is offering discounted Vascular Screenings during July. The Carotid Artery Ultrasound, AAA Ultrasound and ABI Peripheral Arterial Disease Screening are $40 each or $110 for all 3 during June. Call 615-666-2147 for more information.
Summer Harvest a USDA Program will be handing out 7 shelf stable breakfasts & lunches each Tuesday through July 28th at First Baptist Church in Lafayette from 2-4:30pm. This is for ages 18 and under, name and date of birth is all that will be needed.
The Mt. Hermon Community Center will have a Family Friendly Dance, Saturday night featuring No Deposit. Doors open at 6pm and the dance starts at 7pm.
There will be a Reading of the Declaration of Independence by Macon County Historian Randy East, this evening at 5pm at the County Courthouse. All are welcome to attend.
An Effort Meeting is in progress at Russell Hill Missionary Baptist Church, with nightly services at 7pm, Saturday and Sunday services at 11am, Elder Stone Morris Pastor and Bro Greg West Helper.
Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church will have vacation bible school today thru Friday from 8-11:30am each day.
Revival is in progress at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, nightly services at 7pm with Elder Ken Roark, Bro Wyatt Williams and Bro Cody Harris preaching.
Revival will begin Sunday at Maple Grove #2 Missionary Baptist Church with nightly services at 7:30pm and day services at 1:30pm. Helpers Elder Casey Cole and Bro Brad Whittemore will assist Pastor Elder Dean Dyer.
Bro Michael Swindle will preach at Days Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church Sunday night at 6pm.
An Effort Meeting will begin at Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday night at 7pm. Elders Jason Goad and Tucker Smith will be preaching.
Bro Landon Colter will preach at Meadorville Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday at 11am.
