Bread of Life Clothing Ministry located at 630 Coolidge Road will be open Tuesday from 10-1pm. Everything is free. Please do not bring children under 12, due to safety concerns.
The Mt. Hermon Community Center will have a dance Saturday night featuring Moonlight Knights. Doors open at 6pm and the dance starts at 7pm.
Soulfire Ministries Discount General Store at 116 Main Street is a non-profit faith based store where everyone is welcome. Hours are Mon-Sat. 10am – 7pm.
Art in Key Park will be every Tuesday in June from 4-6pm. All ages are welcome to this free community event.
The Lafayette Merchants Car Show on the Square will be Saturday from 2-5pm. For more information call 615-572-4422.
Lafayette Masonic Lodge #543 will have an All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast at the lodge, Saturday morning from 7-10am. It’s $10 per person and kids eat free.
You’re invited to the New Jail’s Open House, (Friday) from 4-6pm to tour the new jail facility. The meeting area will be at the 911 Building next to the Sherriff’s Office.
The Committee of the Whole of the County Commission of Macon County, will meet Monday night at 6:30pm in the Legislative meeting room at the Administration Building.
The Budget Committee will meet Monday evening at 5pm in the Administration Building meeting room.
Liberty Cemetery is in need of donations for upkeep and may be mailed to Terry Tucker, 175 Austin Road in Lafayette or to Liberty Cemetery Fund at Wellworth Bank.
