Macon Community Hospital is offering discounted Vascular Screenings during July. The Carotid Artery Ultrasound, AAA Ultrasound and ABI Peripheral Arterial Disease Screening are $40 each or $110 for all 3 during July. Call 615-666-2147 for more information.

Going on tonight at the Macon County Fair, Carnival arm bands $20, all students K-12 admitted free, at 6pm it’s the open goat show, pedal pull and mule show at 6:30 - quilt bed turnings demonstration in the Women’s Building and at 7pm it’s the Miss Macon Co. Fair Pageant, Mrs. Fair Pageant, the Ms. Senior Pageant and the Battle of the Battery Powered Vehicles.

The Committee of the Whole of the County Commission of Macon County will meet, Monday night at 6:30pm in the Legislative Meeting room in the Administration Building Meeting Room.

Holy Family Church located at 431 Old Highway 52, will have a Fundraiser Sale Thursday and Friday from 7-4pm and Saturday 7-2pm.

An Effort Meeting is in progress at Days Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church, with services at 11am and 7pm. Preaching by Elder Jimmy Claiborne and Bro Brad Whittemore.

Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church will have baptizing services Sunday immediately after services.
